Why Storyteller AI, and why now?

Discovering Sociology -- The Origin

During university, I majored in sociology and became absorbed in the question of 'designing future societies'. I explored how emerging technology would shape human life and how we could maintain harmony within it.

Causal Inference -- The Story Behind the Data

Working in a major corporation's marketing division, I wielded Bayesian inference and structural equation modelling. Eventually I discovered causal inference and realised that the 'web of causality' is the invisible order connecting people and society.

Global Experience -- Harmony in Diversity

Designing multi-AI agent recommendation algorithms for a European video streaming startup with over 300 million users worldwide and TVer, Japan's leading terrestrial broadcaster streaming service with over 50 million users. I learned first-hand the importance of collaboration and harmony across diverse cultures.

Passion for AI Education -- From Scarcity to Hope

Over seven cumulative years at Japan's largest online IT school, I mentored more than 600 students and conducted corporate training for over 100 companies. I was deeply moved by people striving to change their lives despite time and financial constraints. I became convinced that scarcity is the force that drives people forward.

Transition to Strategy Consulting -- Discovering the Gap

While working at a top strategy consulting firm on business strategy, I discovered a deep disconnect between companies wanting to adopt AI and individuals wanting to learn AI. I felt the urgent need for a new kind of consulting to bridge this structural gap.

Founding Storyteller AI

The moment all experiences connected into a single thread. Integrating technology, psychology, education, and philosophy to found a company that extends human potential through AI.

The dual meaning of "Storyteller AI":

First meaning:

An educational platform powered by a personal AI agent called "Storyteller". Historical figures and modern experts -- Einstein, Socrates, Sun Tzu, Buddha, Yoshida Shoin -- are brought to life as AI avatars. Students relive their life stories through VR and AI in one-on-one learning.

Second meaning:

Storyteller graduates themselves become AI strategy consultants carrying their own life stories, weaving new narratives for clients and society.

In essence, a company where humans create stories together with AI -- a name symbolising the fusion of artificial intelligence and human emotion into new value creation.
